Made from high-quality sustainable cotton/ramie denim. this Hatteras has a slub texture and over time will break in like your favorite jeans.The 8-piece construction and sewn-down brim are traditional features inspired by the iconic Newsboy Cap. which in turn took its cues from the Scottish Bonnet-style hats and Irish Flat Caps worn by farmers and laborers of the 14th-century. When those same workers eventually immigrated to the U.S.A. they brought their hats with them. which quickly caught on.
