The Last Drop from His Stetson. endures as a symbol of the American cowboy&#8217;s values of resourcefulness. compassion and humility. We&#8217;ve partnered with renowned American blanket manufacturer Pendleton to reimagine Lon Megargee&#8217;s plainspoken masterwork as a special-edition throw blanket.<\/p>\n<p>The original painting. which depicts a kindly cowboy kneeling to give his horse a drink of water from his upturned hat. has been transformed into a twin-size throw. using a three-color jacquard weaving technique and Pendleton&#8217;s legendary woolen looms. The wool face of the blanket is left unnapped for a sharp. crisp pattern. and cotton has been added to the warp for extra stability. along with a felt-bound edge. The result is a throw with rich color and heirloom quality\u2014a bold centerpiece for any room.<\/p>\n<p>Woven at Pendleton&#8217;s Oregon mill. before being finished at Pendleton&#8217;s mill in Washougal.
